Acceptable Use Policy
This policy sets the rules for using Lasan Connect. It forms part of our Terms of Service. Breaking it can lead to suspension or termination of your account without a refund.
1. Messaging rules
- Send marketing or promotional messages only to people who have opted in to receive them from your business.
- Send business-initiated messages using only templates approved by Meta.
- Honour STOP and other opt-out requests at once.
- Identify your business clearly in every message.
- Keep contact lists accurate and remove numbers that do not want to hear from you.
You must also follow the WhatsApp Business Policy and the WhatsApp Commerce Policy, as updated by Meta from time to time.
2. Prohibited use
You must not use the Service to:
- send unsolicited bulk messages, spam, or messages to purchased or scraped lists;
- send content that is illegal, fraudulent, deceptive or misleading, including phishing and impersonation;
- promote gambling, betting, cryptocurrency schemes, or unlicensed financial products;
- sell or promote weapons, drugs, adult content, or counterfeit goods;
- harass, threaten or harm others, or share someone's personal data without consent;
- collect passwords, one-time codes or payment card details through messages;
- distribute malware or attempt to breach, probe or overload the Service or other users' accounts;
- resell or sublicense the Service without our written permission;
- evade Meta's messaging limits or quality rules, or create multiple accounts to do so.
3. Enforcement
We monitor for abuse, including spam complaints, low message quality ratings reported by Meta, and suspicious patterns. We may pause sending, remove content, restrict features, or suspend your account. Where Meta restricts or bans a WhatsApp number or business account, we may be required to follow that decision.
4. Reporting abuse
To report misuse of the Service, email abuse@lasanconnect.com with the details and, if relevant, the message content.
5. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced on this page.
